Sweepstakes Rules.
Rules for the Drawing of June 28, 2006 - January 1,
2010
1. How to Enter:
You must purchase a one (1) month membership at
www.friends-with-benefits.net dating site, and meet all entry and
eligibility requirements to qualify. You must be of the legal age 18 or
over 21 years old (in some cities, states and countries.) To enter the
Friends-With-Benefits.net contest, you must be a paying member of
www.friends-with-benefits.net for one (1) calendar month and one (1) day,
of the date your membership was created and activated and also remain a
member in good standing throughout the duration of the contest.
2. Sweepstakes Period:
The Sweepstakes begins at June 28, 2006 12:01 AM - MST and ends January
1st, 2008 12:01 AM.- MST.
3. Sweepstakes Prizes:
. Every 1,000th member to join
will win $1,000.00 - US Dollars.
.GRAND PRIZE:
1st place prize will be awarded to the 1,000,000th paying member and the
prize is $2,000,000.00 - US Dollars.
(TWO MILLION DOLLARS.)
4. Prize Claim Requirements:
All winners will be notified by email within seven (7) days. All
winners must provide valid
identification (driver’s license, birth certificate, passport, or valid
state ID) in order to claim their cash prizes. Friends-with-benefits.net
is not required to honor other forms of identification or any
identification that has been tampered with or altered in any way.
4-1. Winners are responsible for all other expenses except as listed under
PRIZES in the contest rules. friends-with-benefits will not provide any
money for any expenses incurred as a result of claiming or using the
prize, including but not limited to transportation other than the airline
tickets, meals, clothing, and other incidental expenses incurred while
claiming or using the prize. the winner and/or their guest are responsible
for all charges made to the room including but not limited to food
services, telephone calls, movie rentals, gratuities, alcoholic beverages
or any other charges made to the room. The winner and their guest using
the prize are responsible for any payment assessed by the hotel for damage
to the hotel and/or the hotel accommodations. friends-with-benefits
reserves the right to use contest winners’ name, voice, photograph, and/or
likeness for publication on our site for promotional/publicity purposes at
any time without advance permission or knowledge required, and without
additional compensation or limitations.
4-2. Winners are solely responsible for all Federal, state, and local
taxes that are applicable. Value of prizes exceeding $600.00 or an
aggregate of $600.00 or more won in station-conducted contests during any
one calendar year period is reported to the Internal Revenue Service as
additional income received. The amount reported to the IRS for income tax
purposes will be the fair market value of the prize at the time the
contest is initiated, or as soon thereafter as an accurate determination
of value can be made. Fair market value is determined by friends-with-benefits.net
in its sole discretion.
5. Eligibility:
The Sweepstakes are for Global Residents only and is
void where prohibited by law. Employees of Friends-With-Benefits.net, and
Cashring, their agents, successors, assignees, affiliates, subsidiaries,
advertising and promotional agencies and the immediate family members of
each or persons living in the same household of each are not eligible to
participate in the Sweepstakes, nor for any prize herein. The Sweepstakes
is restricted to individuals of legal age of majority as determined in the
jurisdiction in which the individual resides. You cannot enter under any
circumstances if you are not at least eighteen years of age. The parties
acknowledge that Friends-With-Benefits.net are not liable for
reimbursement of any prizes otherwise payable to Sweepstakes entrants who
are in violation of this promotion. To remain a member in good standing,
the entrant must accept all mailings from Friends-With-Benefits.net
throughout the duration of the Sweepstakes. Friends-With-Benefits.net may
send entrants a minimum of two (2) emails per month during the
Sweepstakes. All information will be kept confidential - personally
identifiable information on individual entrants will not be sold or
otherwise transferred to unaffiliated third parties. Communications from
Friends-With-Benefits.net generally update and advise entrants of new
games, events, services, and benefits. Friends-With-Benefits.net may
contact entrants in the future with offers that it feels may be of
interest. Communications from entities selected by Friends-With-Benefits.net
may contain valuable information, exclusive coupons, as well as exciting
offers. If you do not wish to receive these mailings, you may unsubscribe.
By unsubscribing from Friends-With-Benefits.net, you will be removing
yourself from the Sweepstakes: you will no longer be eligible to win any
of the prizes. Please note: All 1,000 winners that
win the one thousand dollar prizes will be paid by certified check,
via registered mail.
The grand prize winner must collect prize in person and show proper info
before a check will be issued.
6. General:
6-1. Purchase is necessary to enter the Sweepstakes.
6-2 This is an independent contest from the friends-with-benefits.net web
site and the Cashring affiliate is not liable nor responsible for any
prizes to be paid out to contest winners.
6-3. Taxes and duties, if any, are the sole responsibility of the all
price winners. Winners authorize the deduction of said taxes, if any, from
the prize(s) won to the extent required by law.
6-4. No substitution or transfer of prizes permitted.
6-5. Entrants agree to allow Friends-With-Benefits.net and their
designee(s) the use of their names and/or likeness for advertising and
publicity purposes, without additional compensation, unless prohibited by
law.
6-6. All federal, state, provincial, territorial and local laws and
regulations apply.
6-7. Friends-With-Benefits.net is not responsible for lost, late or
misdirected online entries, for incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete entry
information whether caused by an entrant or an equipment or technical
malfunction or for any technical error or malfunctions or clerical errors.
6-8. Friends-With-Benefits.net is not responsible for typographical or
other errors in the offer or administration of this Sweepstakes, including
but not limited to errors in advertising, the Official Sweepstakes Rules,
the selection and announcement of the Grand Prize winner or Prize winners
or the distribution of the prizes.
6-9. Friends-With-Benefits.net reserves the right to amend these Official
Sweepstakes Rules, and any amendments shall come into force upon being
posted on the Friends-With-Benefits.net website.
6-10. Friends-With-Benefits.net reserves the right to cancel this
Sweepstakes at any time for any reason whatsoever without obligation or
prior notice.
6-11. By entering, entrants release and hold harmless Friends-With-Benefits.net
and Cashring, their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates,
directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability or
any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection
with this Sweepstakes or any prize won.
6-12. Entrants may not enter with multiple email addresses nor may
entrants use any other device or artifice to play multiple times or as
multiple entrants, other than as permitted by these Official Sweepstakes
Rules. Any entrant who attempts to enter with multiple email addresses
under multiple identities or uses any device or artifice to enter multiple
times will be disqualified.
6-13. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB
SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A
VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE,
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST
EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
6-14. In the event of a dispute, entries made by Internet will be declared
made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at
time of entry. Authorized account holder is defined as the natural person
who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, on
line service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational,
institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for
the domain associated with the submitted email address.
6-15. If we do not reach the one millionth paying member to the
friends-with-benefits.net web site we reserve the right to extend the
contest ending date if suitable.
7. Internet:
If for any reason the Internet portion of the program is not capable
of running as planned, including infection caused by computer virus, bugs,
tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any
other causes beyond the control of Friends-With-Benefits.net which corrupt
or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper
conduct of this Sweepstakes, Friends-With-Benefits.net reserves the right
at their sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with
the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the
Sweepstakes. In such event Friends-With-Benefits.net further reserves the
right to conduct a drawing to award the Grand Prize using all eligible
entries received as of the termination date. Friends-With-Benefits.net
assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion,
defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure,
theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries.
Friends-With-Benefits.net is not responsible for any problems or technical
malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on line systems,
servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email
or entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic
congestion on the Internet or at any Web site, or any combination thereof,
including any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer
related to or resulting from entry in the Sweepstakes or downloading any
materials in relation to the Sweepstakes.
8. Winners List:
The name(s) of the all our prize winners will be posted on the
Friends-With-Benefits.net Web site. Once they have been validated and
confirmed, and abided to the contest rules. |
